What is GRC?

Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) is a cement tailored to meet the aesthetic, structural and environmental needs of a project. Cost efficient, durable and easy to use, GRC ensures a finer quality of life for any architectural feature.

GRC is a blend of water-based concrete and alkali-resistant glass fibres made from reclaimed glass alongside other naturally occurring and locally sourced raw materials.

To produce GRC, glass fibres are encased in a matrix of concrete which creates elasticity and allows for greater flexibility in design as it can be moulded to produce any shape or detail. The absence of steel reinforcement results in the concrete becoming much more resistant to shock and impact, and adaptive to weather or external conditions.

Our GRC units are manufactured here in Aotearoa. All raw materials and aggregates are sourced locally which is how we can ensure a premium quality of product with no poor construction at any stage of its development.
